My 2017 Travel Plans

It’s going to be tough topping 2016’s travel adventures but you know what I’m going to give it a good go regardless with my 2017 travel plans. Returning fresh in January 2017 from my 5 month trip across Asia awaiting confirmation of security has made the first portion of 2017. Some trips have already been booked and others are just in the planning stage whilst I wait for what I hope is good news in April.

Greece (Again!)

I may have mentioned previously that in 2015 and 2016 I attended two friends’ weddings in Greece. 2017 is going to be no different as in August I will be returning to Greece for the 3rd year running. This time it will be back to Zante for a week in a very lovely all inclusive hotel to again indulge in beer, beaches and partying to celebrate the wedding of two very good friends of mine.

A Wedding….There’s a Stag Do Right?

And of course, a wedding and stag do go hand in hand. This particular friend who is getting married is part of my German football loving group of friends’ so it of course would be rude not to visit the great country of Germany for the stag do. Frankfurt awaits in May of this year for 3 nights of debauchery enjoying a local football game, the incredible German beer and the culture that goes along with it!

As far as booked trips go that’s where my 2017 travel plans finish for the moment. I have plenty of other plans up my sleeve for the year and the potential trips are as follows:

  • Eastern Europe – Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia.
  • India/Nepal – Xmas & New Years.
  • Weekend Getaways – Using my knowledge of cheap flights to jet off around Europe as often as I can.
